You can try the bar association of your state. They can give you a list of low cost or pro-bono lawyers
hi please my yahoo friends help me i need to know how to protect my writing on a web site or a blog i don’t
have any money to hire a lawyer but i don’t want my writing to taking and called someone elses i would write as a ghost writer so is their away i can protect my thoughts on a blog please thank you
the best way to do that is to first PDF your documents or put them in a format that isn’t easily copied and pasted from the web.
Ensure your name and the date you wrote the the piece are on each page of the documents posted. You can also make hard copies and file them in a safety-deposit box, and or publish your work in another place at the same time you blog it, therefore you have more legitimacy in claiming your writing is your own.
there are some subscription services that "lock" pieces of work for a fee, but it can get expensive.
just be sure to post this at the bottom of every thing you write:
Written works displayed on this website are copyrighted by the author in accordance with US Code, Title 17 (Sections 107-118).
Against wich law is it , to present a famous painting of someone in your own blog , and not to write whom it?
belongs to ?
Plagerism is when you steal an author’s literary work and present it as your own. You are also guilty of copyright infringement. When it comes to art, you may not copy the work and use it. That too falls into the realm of copyright infringement. It doesn’t matter if you profit or not. And if you buy a painting from an artist, you don’t own the right to reproduce it in any way, shape, or form. It’s tabu and against the law.
Why don’t you create your own painting in your own blog?

Motor collisions cause 200,000 injuries every year. They are responsible for 3,000 deaths, and 40,000 serious injuries. They are also a source of injustice, with the key victims in the accident often not sufficiently compensated for the hardship they have faced. Do not be a victim in this way. You may be able to prove liability in a car accident claim and ensure you receive the damages you are due. To facilitate this we recommend that you make certain steps to preserve evidence and avoid being denied the compensation you may be owed :-
1.record the names and contact details of other drivers involved in the accident
2.where possible, record their insurance details and details from their driving licence
3.collect the registration number of other cars or motorbikes involved in the accident
4.record the names and collar numbers of any police officers called to the scene
5.photograph your vehicle from several angles
6.comprehensively photograph the other vehicles involved in the incident
7.photograph the scene of the accident and the surrounding location
8.examine the road for physical damage, and photograph anything of significance, including debris and skid marks
9.avoid making a statement, assuming responsibility or casting blame yet: emotions are high after an accident and it is best to be patient and obtain advice from a legal expert
10.if you or your passengers are injured, take photographs of the injuries as soon as possible
11.in the event of injury, go immediately to a GP or Accident and Emergency Department for treatment and medical advice
12.whether you think you were to blame or not, contact your insurers as soon as possible and inform them of the accident and of the possibilty that the other driver may make a car accident claim against you.
13.ask any witnesses their names and contact details
14.call at homes and offices near the accident scene to check if anyone witnessed the accident
15.take photographs of the immediate vicinity and the scene of the accident if you were a pedestrian
16.take detailed photographs of all damage to property or possessions in case the insurers wish to see this
17.keep all receipts of repairs to any damaged property
18.record daily and in detail the events occurring after the incident, particularly your process of recovery from the accident
If you have been injured in an accident within the last three years, do yourself justice and complete the contact form at www.mugomilk.co.uk or phone the advice line and we will immediately put you in touch with a specialist solicitor.

Vedic Astrology Lesson 34
Directional Influences
Nothing happens by itself. Everything happens by Cause. The Universal Law of Cause & Effect, the Law of Retribution, the Law of Nemesis, the Law of Action & Reaction is the grand Law of Causation, known to the philosophers as the Universal Law of Karma. Who can transcend the Universal Law ?
The system in VA which corresponds to this Universal Law is called the Dasa System, which is made up of planetary periods and subperiods and which extends to 120 years. Dasa is translated as the period of directional influence of the ruling planet. Inevitable effects are to be judged from Dasa ( Dasa prabhedena Vichinthayeth Dridam). Astrology is based on this Universal Law of Cause and Effect .
In his ignorance, Man transgresses the eternal Laws of Nature & wonders when her inexorable penalties are exacted. There is a mathematical law behind this physical Universe, which is conditioned in Space, Time & Causality. All events are connected by Time, all places are connected by Space & all effects are connected by Cause in the Space-Time-Causality equation.
Planets have got dualistic role and always the negative aspect of the ruling planet must be taken into consideration & divine remedial measures must be resorted to overcome the minus points of the Dasa ruler.
Philosophically Dasa represents the Prarabda Karma (the inevitable punishment imparted by Nature for a deed done with malice aforethought ) of the native and the ineluctable effects he/she has to undergo during the planet’s reign.
There are many Dasa systems, the prominent among them being Vimshottari Dasa System. Vimshottari means 120 and this is a 120 year cycle. Every planet is given a period in sequential order of stars in the Sidereal Zodiac. For instance, South Node ( Ketu ) is assigned a period of 7 years & the South Node rules the first constellation Beta Arietis (Aswini ). The ruler of the next constellation of 41 Arietis ( Bharani ), Venus, gets 20 years. Sun gets 6 years, Moon 10, Mars 7, North Node ( Rahu ) 18, Jupiter 16, Saturn 19 & Mercury 17. This 120 year system is the most widely used. There are other systems like the Kala Chakra Dasa System, based on the Signs of the Sidereal Zodiac, which are also used.
There is a rule that if the Moon’s Navamsa dispositor is strong, the Kala Chakra Dasa should be used. ( Kala Chakra Dasagneyam Chandramsheshe Balanvithe ). If not, the 120 year cycle or Vimshotthari can be be used.
There are many astrologers who base their predictions on other systems of predictions. There are actually 3 major systems of prediction in V A.
1) The Vimshottari or Udu Dasa System of 120 years.
2) The Transit of Gochara System based on Planetary Transits.
3) The Ashtakavarga System.
The Transit influences are always subordinate to the Directional influences. This is exemplified by the statement ” Dasa Prabhedena Vichinthayeth Dridam ” ( Dasa deals with ineluctable effects ). Transit influences are caused by non-Prarabdha Karma ( Dridadridam cha Ashtakavarga Gocharai ).
The accumulated Karma of the individual is called Sanchitha Karma. The Karma which is about to come is called Agami and the Karma for which inevitable punishment is necessary is called Prarabda Karma. It is this Prarabda Karma, which needs ineluctable punishment, which is represented by Dasa or the Planetary Period of Directional Influence.
In order to know whether a Dasa is beneficial or not, one should study the strength of the Dasa ruler. If the Dasa ruler is a functional benefic ( owner of a trine or angle ) in the chart & if he be well posited, one can surmise that the directional influences will be benefic. If on the other hand, the Dasa ruler is a functional malefic and badly positioned in the natal chart, the directional influences can be very adverse indeed. Aspects from other planets should also be considered. Planets in cuspal degree are devoid of strength. So are combust planets and planets weak in the Navamsa chart. It is always better to know the strength of the planet via Shad Bala ( the sixfold source of planetary strength ) and apply the principle ” Balavan Ishtam Kuruthe, Balaheeeno Viparya “. ( a powerful planet will do only good and weak planet will do harm ).
The balance Dasa at the time of birth is ascertained by observing the longitude of the Moon and the distance traversed by the Moon in that particular constellation. If the Moon has traversed, say 75%, the balance 25% will be the dasa balance at birth. A constellation is 800 minutes or 13 degrees 20 minutes of arc. For example, if the Star is Pushya ruled by Saturn and if the Moon has traversed 600 minutes of arc in the 800 minutes of Pushya, the balance Dasa can be calculated by the formula
Balance Dasa at birth = 19 years of Saturn Dasa * (800-600)/800

Trisphuta Dasa in Horary Astrology
As important as Vimshottari is to Natal Astrology, so is Trisphuta Dasa to Horary Astrology. The Ascendant rules Life, the Moon the Body & Gulika , the satellite of Saturn, Death. The sum of these 3 longitudes is called the Triune Longitude or Trisphuta. Since Horary Astrology deals only the the current effects for one year, the span of Trisphuta Dasa is one Year. In Horary Astrology, the numbers assigned to the planets in terms of years is multiplied by 3 to get days ruled by the planet. So Sun gets 18 days, Venus 60 days, Moon 30 days, Mars 21 days, Rahu 54 days, Jupiter 48 days , Saturn 57 days, Mercury 51 days, Ketu 21 days etc. Here, instead of the longitude of the Moon, the longitude of Trisphuta ( Triune Longitude ) should be taken into consideration.
Balance Dasa at Birth = 57 days of Saturn Dasa * (800-600)/800

Is it ok to sell legal advice online? Do you have to pay tax or is it a hobby?
Can I get into trouble for selling legal advice online? I am qualified. Am I allowed to go around posting on different sites and charging people? I would especially like to hear from other people who do similar things. Thanks
In the US hobby income of $400 or less is not reported. Anything over that is considered income.

Fired from job because of MySpace blog??
My friend was fired today because of a blog she posted on MySpace. Within the blog she complained of the treatment she was receiving from our boss–okay, she also called her a few names… Our administrators contacted their lawyers and was told that they could legally fire her. My question is, where does Freedom of Speech play in this?
What can I say, she’s blonde! :0)
Freedom of Speech flows from the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States which says in part: "Congress shall make no law…..prohibiting freedom of speech…". This gives the citizens an unfettered right to speak out against their government. That’s it! There is no protection for speaking out against your employer. So, to answer your question the First Amendment has no bearing on your friend’s plight – Freedom of Speech does not enter the picture.
What libel/slander laws apply to a blog about an old workplace?
I have just survived a terrible ordeal at my workplace. I am switching careers–switching to a whole new industry. I’d like to blog about the old job, but not mention the actual name of place or people, but use it caution and educate others about how to improve their own experience. I do not intend to libel/slander anyone, but I do intend to tell the truth–while protecting the identity of the guilty.
First off, your blog can be tracked to you by your new employer and could cost you your new job.
Second, libel and slander have to be false. However, if they decide to sue you over it, it will get expensive even if you are in the right. You should also realize that someone might figure out what the place is, especially if you are identifiable on your blog.
Write private journals about your experience, but don’t make your comments public because it will come back to bite you.
It doesn’t really sound like you are educating anyone, since you didn’t improve the situation, you had to change careers.
