*** Video notes

November 20th 2008, day 197 / Entering Canandaigua / Local house of tyranny / Would attorneys and lawyers be necessary in a pure free market justice and dispute resolution system? / Attorneys are necessary in the current monopolistic legal system because of the thousands of laws (including case law) in existence / Laws written in legalese / Representing yourself in civil vs criminal trials / What would a free market system look like? / All property would be private / No central monopolistic “government” claiming to have authority over everything and everyone / No legislature, so there wouldn’t be hundreds of new laws accumulating each year / Categories of property: individual, retail or service business, roads, other (farms, factories) / Rules that you must follow if you want to remain on someone’s property / Businesses would want repeat customers, so their rules would likely be simple and straightforward / Probably only a very few commonly accepted laws across all property, namely those against behavior which physically harms or threatens another’s person or property / Representing yourself in front of mutually-agreed upon arbitrator / Hiring a person to represent you who is skilled in logic and asking relevant questions, but they would be nothing like the lawyers of today / That representative has no need for schooling in thousands of existing laws, and doesn’t need to be approved by the protectionist “bar” system / Third party certification of representatives / 18.1 miles for liberty / http://donate.walkforliberty.com / Sun coming from behind clouds

*** About the Walk For Liberty

What are you willing to do for freedom?

Vote? Protest? Participate in a rally? Walk all the way across the country?

We are.

This summer, a group of activists will be walking across America to achieve more freedom and liberty.

Our pioneer forefathers trekked across the continent from the east to the west to find a better life for themselves. This time, we’re doing it in reverse.

I am walking coast-to-coast across the country, from Oregon to New Hampshire. I am joined by my immediate family as well. We’re on a quest to gain more freedom for ourselves and for our country by spreading the message of freedom and liberty along the way.

Why are we doing this?

We see the gradual chipping away at freedoms in America, and want to do our part to stop it. My wife and I are moving to New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project. New Hampshire is already the freest state in the country, which is why we are moving there. But we also want to help bring more freedom to as many other people as possible.

Therefore we are walking across America to get to New Hampshire. We are walking all the way there to bring as much media attention and publicity as possible to two liberty-oriented causes: the Free State Project, which is working to make New Hampshire even more free, and Ron Paul’s message of freedom for everyone. T’ Republican Sages Claim that T’ Medical Malpractice Trial Lawyers are Responsible for T’ High Insurance Y? N?

High Insurance Premiums.

http://blog.healthcareforamericanow.org/2010/02/25/white-house-health-care-summit-morning-wrap-up-tort-reform-insurance-costs-and-republican-ideas/

No. Many states have implemented tort reform. California has had it for over 10 years. There are no big malpractice awards, yet no one has ever had their insurance rates go down, and malpractice insurance costs just as much there as anywhere else..

I guess they somehow think that taking away our right to sue for damage caused by incompetence or negligence is a good thing. Funny how Republicans are OK with taking away rights when it suits their agenda, and their followers are with them. Don’t they realize that someday they may be in the position of being crippled for life my a bad doctor?

If you value your rights, don’t take rights away from others.

Social security disability blogs?

Does anyone know of social security blogs regarding SSDI, the work related program, of regular people posting regarding problems or perhaps even solutions in dealing with social security.

All I’m ever led to when I do a search for a blog of people applying, having problems, or succeeding with claims, is right to lawyers. I don’t want to read anymore lawyer blogs, I want to read about what regular people are saying.

in your search window, type in social security blogs. It should give you a choice of blogs!

Are you Free Man? This is not legal advice…3/4

To answer the question of ‘what acts and statutes’ are not regarded as law, the answer is none of them. To what Laws do you have to give authority to? Your own. Figure out what they are, then live by them (and serve notice, if you care to change anything for the others that are still slaves to the system…and the future)
