I have, and I have paid the price for it, it was my responsibilty and feel if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime. I have been clean and sober for over 40 years.

The law is sort of a gray area if you know what laws to break and when to break them then you can get away with it.

You learn this stuff when you attend law school like I did.

Wherever did you get it into your head that just because someone gets a parking ticket, they no longer have the right to keep murderers, thieves, drug dealers, rapists and child molesters from coming into the US from mexico? Because that is EXACTLY who is coming over our border right now. These people aren’t criminals because they have broken our immigration laws. They are HARDCORE criminal scum.

We are all well aware of your sick liberal agenda to bring these people into the US to sow chaos and hopefully bring down our government. That isn’t going to happen. I vote, so I know it’s not going to happen. As a last result, I keep a pistol on my hip with several bullets with your name on them that says its not going to happen.

Mex, you are simply trying to get people to admit to some petty crime and then you come back and say, "ah ha, you’ve no room to talk about illegal aliens." People are caught and punished for crimes all the time, so are illegal aliens (for being here illegally and for the other crimes they commit.)

I think a better question would be: Who has broken the law and not gotten caught.
Everyone has broken some kind of a law be it speeding, or murder. If they tell you they haven’t, they are lying.

    I don’t even litter.

I get angry now and than-is that against the law?

And who are you that said -everybody does? Some do not speed, or drink and drive, or cheat on their taxes or anything–where do you live? I know many who never break the law-better watch your associations.

I would say if they are honest, everyone.
A speeding ticket, a spitting on pavement, or jay walking ticket are crimes. They are described as policies, but they are local laws, with concequences.
One of which is if you can not pay a fine you are to be jailed, until said penalty is paid off to the city, county, or state.
We used to have laws to protect civilians from being treated as if they are hardened criminals, for minor offenses but through our president’s fear propaganda, he got allot of Americans to give up that protection through the Patriot Act.

Almost every day I probably go over the speed limit a little and break the law.

I know if I get caught I need to accept responsibility for my actions and pay the penalty for breaking that law. For speeding it’s a fine for being here illegally it’s deportation.

i have and i had to go before the judge and was labeled a criminal its on my record and i had to pay money so you know the old saying you do the crime you do the time ? so its time for the illegals to be sentenced and do their time all the way back to mexico !

I exceed the speed limit from time to time. What’s your point?

If I get caught I suffer the consequences. How about you?

Saul, the biggest problems with illegal immigration are things like education, an ongoing $18,000 per child per year expense, health care, a several thousand dollar per child birth expense, etc. This is not petty theft and is not a one time occurrence but a continuing theft.

Discussion of ‘border crossing’ illegally, as if that is where the damage is done ignores the ongoing misappropriation of services inside the country. If an American citizen committed fraud of that scale, they would be jailed.

If I get border security and employer enforcement, and kill the guest worker program, I’d be in favor of legalizing screened illegals. However, trivializing the problem doesn’t help anyone. This isn’t a situation where no one is impacted. Trivializing the impacts just makes those impacted mad.

This is not a BLOG and while many have not broken any laws, many rules of sentence structure have been badly yanked around.
